A Little History

I haven't always been a "professional" healer, doctor, acupuncturist, bodyworker ... or whatever the best word is for what I do.

I've spent many years in and out of offices, working as a producer, designer, and manager for interactive products. I understand how exhausting office work is. I know the energy drain that occurs for even the most interesting and worthwhile projects.

And maybe like you, I felt a yearning for something more.

During those years, I also spent time studying consciousness. Searching to understand what we are all doing here - alive on this planet - I looked into mind maps from Jewish Mysticism to Buddhism. At every turn, I found that the answers are in our experience of being embodied.

The human experience.

When I confronted my own health challenges that conventional medicine could not provide satisfactory or useful treatment for, I found energy medicine.

After one treatment from an energy healer, I suddenly felt "right" again. I set out that day to learn how to do what he did.

I studied Polarity Therapy energy medicine at a local massage school and became a bodyworker. I continued to study privately and became a teacher.

Through my studies, I discovered acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. In Chinese medicine, I found a Great Ancestor of energy theory and practice. I discovered a deep record of diagnostics and treatment that has withstood the test of time.

Chinese medical theory, like Jewish Mysticism, Polarity Therapy, and other descriptions of life as energy, sees the body as a microcosm of the universe.

I was hooked.

My work goes beyond acupuncture.

My goal is to help you and your body understand new ways of being that relieve pain, regulate physiological function, and create more space for you to be who you want to be in this world.
